Kid Arrested For Facebook List that Ranks Girls

Be as it may, it's not for someone else, particularly some creepy pervert to post about in a public web site. If my daughter had sex with another guy, that's his and her business and I would have a talk with her about safety and all that. I would not broadcast it for the world to know about. I'd still beat the fuck out of that kid.

Our little girl's only 11 (and 5), so we don't have to worry about that right now, thankfully. :-P

Give it a couple more years.

I don't have kids myself (don't plan to have'em any soon either) but I'm sure as a father, if (and I seriously hope it doesnt) that crap happened to you you wouldn't be jumping on the douches-dead body...but on your daughters "boyfriend" who was not enough of a human being to keep the mouth shut.

Either way, kids need to realise that they can't do whatever they want with whoever they want. Life is full of douches :D

And in a free country you have the right to insult whomever you want.

If we charge people for flag burning, then whats next? Arresting people for disagreeing with government policy? Sending out armed state thugs to beat up anyone who disagrees with "dear leader"?

It's a slippery slope down the road to despotism, right up there next to Turkey charging people with the offense of "Insulting Turkishness" for referring to the well documented genocide of Armenian people as a genocide.

A free country can have no law that prevents people from expressing their opinions. If it does, it is not a free country.

A flag - any flag - is just a piece of cloth, regardless of what is printed on it, and burning it should be perfectly legal. I have no intent of ever burning a U.S. flag, but if I buy something, it is perfectly within my right to burn my own property, as long as I do so in a safe fashion without violating any fire control safety laws.

There are many opinions I don't like. But part of living in a free country is that we defend the right of ALL people to express their opinions regardless of how much we dislike them.

If you do not support this freedom, then you are not supporting the freedom that you proclaim to love with your adoration of the U.S. flag.

Gotta be kidding me. Your freedom ends where mine starts. Insulting affects my freedom and thus shall not be tolerated, and the same could be said about plenty of other symbols: a bible is just a book (for me, a non-believer) but it ain't for a crapload of people. I could burn a ton of books and nothing would happen, nobody would take offense, but to burn a bible is a whole different world, and I would totally understand If people were crazy-mad about it: because I'm insulting them, I'm disrespecting them to their highest and possibly more strongest believes.

A flag has even a deeper meaning: a country's flag represents it throughout the world as its main symbol. When you burn it you don't burn a piece of plastic...you are burning, metaphorically, the country. I can't tell you mad I would be if somebody was burning my own country's flag, or even my own towns flag, and so should be you. Because a flag doesn't represent a government, or some people: it represents a country all around the world and its the biggest symbol one could ever have.

Now, I seriously not understand WTF do you have inside your head if:
a) You don't ever think about girls.
b) Yet allow insults and flag-burning.

You are exactly the wrong kinda person I would point my finger act, because you are just WRONG. Men and women are exactly the same, only that because of stupid social tradition women haven't started to go "up in the wild" till a few decades ago and have yet to catch up, but we both love sex, both are human beings and both are capable of rising our voices to let people hear us. So, unless somebody is using his superior physical condition over a women in order to force "something" I just don't see why we should do anything "special" about it.

Now, to end my answer, let me tell you something: you are part of the problem. You are the one that thinks that women are inferior to us and thus need to be protected. I see nothing wrong with striptease-legal clubs if the girls are doing that job willingly, just as I don't see the problem with a woman being a porn-actress as long as she is doing that willingly. If you see a problem with somebodys choice then its clearly you the one that has a problem and has a mentality two centuries outdated.

Now there's a flag I'd burn in a heartbeat :p

Really? Because that was the flag used in the American revolution. I guess all that "freedom" stuff you just posted isn't actually something you really truly care for.

Freedom against insults... Was that in the 1st and 3/4's Amendment?

I might expect some uneducated person would say that they have a right to not be offended. What amazes is me is how many people seem to think they have that right. To those of you who believe they have the right not to be offended I offer you this. Your simple existence offends me! So by your own logic I have the right to ask you to cease to exist. Remember that anything you can imagine will offend someone. Saying thank you to some people will offend them.

So, the "little black book" of how men/women rate that has been common for so long is now illegal? Okay, I guess. I don't get it, but alright.

Is it because one of the girls Dad was a cop or lawyer?

From the article

The list emerged in January and described the girls by explicit, derogatory nicknames and assessed their physical appearance, sexual desirability, sexual activity and other characteristics.

In junior high there was one girl whose boobs were bigger than the boobs on all the other girls chests. She was affectionately nicknamed "Milkers".

I hate this damn state, Illinois.

The amount of double standards and general fail in this thread is simply mind boggling. I can no longer, wtf is this.

Aw come on! Guys have been talking about who is the most attractive girl since the dawn of time. Cave drawings from tens of thousands of years ago have been found depicting women with big boobs and men with large penises. Guys have been talking about girls since the dawn of time. Just because it's on the internet it's criminal.

boys will be boys.

Anyone else curious to know what Dale Jone's daughter has been up to? I clicked on the link hoping part of the list might be listed just to specifically look up Miss Jones. I bet it seems like a serious offense to him but should he be more concerned with his teenage daughter being sexually active and potentially unsafe?

Has Dale Jones done his 'safe sex' talk or is he waiting for __something else__ to do it for him?

See, if people would read the article and not the sensationalist headlines this site writes, you'll see the kid not only created a list but distributed it in person, on facebook, around the school, and generally made the information public.

We have laws for doing that. Libel for one.
But what about women who do the same exact things and actually make a website about how men are in bed? There actually is a site out there that has done this, called metal Sludge (Google it cause I'm not gonna link it just in case). I heard it's been around for years (site says they been around since 1998) and yet its still there, but this kid gets arrested for the same shit, lol.

This kid told me a girl he knew had a great ass; I, of course, had him arrested on the spot.

As was previously mentioned, kid's a douche, but our society needs to value freedom a hell of a lot more than arresting him for being so.

Quite frankly, if you have "babe wallpaper" on your computer or your phone, or you talk to friends about "hot girls" you are really nothing but a disgusting low-brow male pig, and people like that should be chastised as hard as possibly allowed.

If you are slimy enough to have thoughts about sex/sexuality/women as you go about your day, you should really just keep them to yourself.

You just described damn near all the men and some women on the planet. Guess its time for you to leave this world and go back to Fantasyland where everything is safe from physical/emotional damage. Take some of the other overly senstive people from these forums with you as well.

It was a list, he was a kid, kids do stupid shit, it happens. You learn you move on. As for the parents of the girls, freaking relax, true or not you know you couldn't protect your little angel forever. As N.E.R.D. puts it "She like to move". Worst thing that should have happened to this kid was a few boyfriends teaching him a lesson and possibly even in-school suspension or a suspension. This just goes to show what type of people we are turning into, spineless-pill-popping-morons that get offended by anything and sue people for the stupidest things, yes like spilling hot coffee on yourself.

Note to self: Don't live in, or visit Chicago. LMAO

Wow, pretty soon they will arrest you for smoking in your own home. Yep, that day is coming. Spitting in public, illegal. instant arrest.

Good lord, don't we have more problems to worry about than this shit.

This country is going down the shitcan fast.

Yeah but guns are illegal there, which means people cannot murder each other.

  1. You can murder someone without a gun.
  2. Simply because guns are illegal in certain places doesn't mean that people don't have them or cannot obtain them.
  3. This is Oak Park, not Chicago. As long as you have your FOID card, you can have a gun in Oak Park.

Nice to know that our country is just going down hill. Kinda a bummer. What can we even do? You get in trouble for just about everything now a days.

I work downtown Chicago and I assure you that your trip to the city will be uneventful where law enforcements are concerned.

i listen to the chicago police all the time, they are non stop busy, i feel bad for them cops sometimes to be honest. all i hear all the time is shot's fired, people being jacked, cars being stolen and this is in the day time. so honestly i would be more worried about being jacked or held at gun ponit then worried about the police there.

What do you expect to hear if you listen to the police? It's a big city too, you know.

Burning a flag is not illegal, neither is insulting someone. You're not free FROM other people's words, you're free TO use your own. Freedom is not a restriction, it is a lack of restriction. Way to twist things to your strange worldview, though.

Prava's intepretation of the First Amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances...unless it insults someone, kthnx

Freedom of speech with exception of insults is a flat out oxymoron. Your post is insulting to me; you should be locked up.

Wow, 10 pages of comments. This kid's secured his 15 minutes of fame. I wonder when the book deal gets signed.

Going to have to disagree again.

In my almost 10 years of working professionally (Engineer, first in Aerospace and later in Medical Device) I have never once run in to anyone who conducted themselves that way.
Then you sir, are an anomaly. Because in my 15+ years working in the professional world, I see it all, the time. It is rampant, especially with women. It is a complete double standard. Women have lewd conversations all the time about themselves and their friends. Then they are shocked when some of the stories get out. People are going to talk about their lives irregardless of the "rules" in the workplace.

Do you really know why they don't allow babe wallpapers on personal computers in a professional environment? Corporations are spineless when it comes to protecting personal rights, and instead try to make a communist like environment for everyone so they don't have to fight frivolous lawsuits all the time. It has nothing to do with respecting anyone. You can tell it doesn't because they let women get away with all kinds of stuff, simply because it is easier for them and men do not have a tendency to complain or file suits over it.

Does it bother me that a woman has a calendar of some half naked firemen on her desk? No. Do I think it is a complete double standard that a guy cannot have a calendar of half naked swim suit models on his? Yes. But that is the way it is. And honestly in my experience women have been far more disrespectful toward men than vice versa, even in your so called "professional" environments.

Winner winner chicken dinner

I almost took an engineering internship in Chicago, kinda glad I didn't

No No, just the part of men rating women, because that's sexist.

Women can still rate men. . . Because . . . Uhm. . . Uh. . . Just because.

multiple women can go piss in the same SINGLE bathroom and its still not gay either... don't you know that?

Two dudes in the same single bathroom? yeah, everyone thinks some steamy man action happening..yucky

Everyone that keeps voting in these big-government nanny state politicians that want to micromanage everyone's lives and infringe upon personal freedoms and liberties deserves this result.

A sad state of affairs that I hope will be remedied soon, as its a lot easier to hold onto freedoms than to try and get them back once already lost.

No surprising at all, its a list, get over it, not even worth a stonly worded letter.
But then again Chicago is the armpit of the United States.

" irregardless" is not a word, using it is wrongiferous.
