If you are having a keyboard throwing contest, make sure everyone participating has better aim than this guy.

Thank goodness it's not the old IBM model M keyboard. The cameraman wouldn't be getting back up.

well he didnt necessarily have bad aim, the cord broke off
you can see it still in his hand as the keyboard flies toward the cameraman

It wouldn't have broke the keyboard though. My model M was over 20 years old before I gave it up for a G15.

You GAVE UP YOUR MODEL M?

I thought noone who comes to love a Model M could ever give it up.

I have one of the black trackpoint II models and I love it.

(everything except my monitor and keyboard have changed since this shot, I've had my 24" widescreen flatpanel for 5 years now? Crazy!)

I'm starting to get concerned as the lettering is starting to wear off, the otherwise perfectly functioning keyboard.

I've been able to find spare white keys, but not replacement black ones :(

It's not that I really need the lettering, I haven't looked at my keyboard while typing since 1989, but I don't want my prized keyboard to look all worn out

I was missing 3 keys on it. They weren't keys I use everyday, but still. It made my computer look cheap when I have company over :-P

hehe, thats my concern about the wearing off of the white lettering on my keys :( I haven't used anything else modern that I would want to replace it with though.

Moments like that are priceless. Isn't this why they invented tripods?

He could have put the camera on a tripod, but eeing how unpredictable this thing was, who's to say it wouldn't have hit him anyway, standing somewhere else :p
