Im planning to upgrade my current build (see sig) to Sandy Bridge. Ive done my homework and I know there will be a really nice performance gain. Any input on the build below would be appreciated.

Intel Core i5 2500K
MSI P67A-GD65
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
ATI Radeon HD5850 1GB GDDR5
Western Digital 1TB Black (32mb/3Gbps SATA II)
Western Digital 400 GB
OCZ 600w Stealth X Stream
ASUS SATA DVD-RW Drive
COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKN1-GP Black

What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming, Photo/Video editing
What's your budget? $750 with tax and shipping
What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, MOBO, RAM, CASE, SATA DVDRW Drive
If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? 600w OCZ StealthxStream, 1TB WD Black HDD, 400GB WD Blue HDD, Radeon HD5850 1GB GDDR5 video card) Will you be overclocking? Yes
What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have? 24” ASUS 1920x1080
When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Between April and May

Choose a different PSU; OCZ PSUs aren't worth the money. You can grab a quality Antec or Corsair power supply for just a bit more.

Why are you going with the 5850? Which games are you going to play? At what resolution?

Please answer the sticky questions so we can give you better recommendations.

OP already has a 5850 as listed in his sig.

I second this, and you might also consider one of XFX's 650W PSUs. This one is built pretty well (Seasonic built, with a very similar design (though not entirely the same) as the PC Power and Cooling 610W unit.)
$95 (before $30 MIR) - XFX XXX Edition P1-650X-CAG9 650W

Others to consider:
$89 (before $30 MIR) - XFX P1-650X-CAH9 650W
$90 (before $10 MIR) - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W
$100 (before $20 MIR) - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W

Definitely fill out the sticky (the first thread in the General Hardware forum labeled "Sticky: Asking for Build Help?: ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS FIRST".) It helps us figure out what you need quickly (like that how you already have the 5850 and the hard drives.)

Updated original post with answers from relevant sticky questions.

This OCZ power supply has been rock solid for the past three years. This particular model had good reviews, and if at all possible. Id still like to continue using it.

If you don't mind saving a bit more money, take a look at the MSI P67 mobo model breakdown:

GD65 - 8 SATA ports, Firewire, eSATA
GD55 - 6 SATA, Firewire, SLI
GD53 - 6 SATA, SLI, no firewire
G45 - 6 SATA, no SLI, with Firewire
G43 - 6 SATA, no SLI, no Firewire.

EDIT: Small fix

Also if you plan on overclocking that CPU (I'm guessing so) might want to consider an aftermarket HSF, the CoolerMaster Hyper212+ is pretty damn popular and gets the job done.

Note: While only the GD series supports SLI, all five of those boards do Crossfire.

Sorry to bump this two week old thread. Everything else besides the i5-2500k / DVD-RW drive has arrived.

Took everyone's suggestion and bought a new PSU. Ended up going with the Corsair TX650 v2

Core i5 2500k
MSI P67 G45
8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3
XFX Radeon HD5850
1TB WD Digital Black 3/Gbps SATA II
400 GB WD Blue
Corsair TX650 v2

and for the case I picked a Coolermaster 690 II Advanced

Thanks for all of your input, I look forward to sharing my results tomorrow night!

Build went great! Booted on first attempt!

OC'd to 4.2 Ghz

Benchmarks to come!
