Hey guys, I have the following rig:
Athlon xp 2500+ oc'ed to 3200+
1gig crucial 3200
Radeon 9600
Samsung 80gb 7200rpm
MSI nforce2 mobo
and was wondering if I made the right purchase:
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16817104953
The 3.3v and 5.0 rails seem low, but as stated on these forums forton is one of the companies that underrates their PSU's. Will this psu suit my needs?
I think I'll be ok as long as the 9600 doesn't piss on the 5.0V rail. Outlook is good because the 9600 pro and xt draw primarily from the 3.3v rail, which is otherwise barely used by my setup. Mostly chose this psu because of the dual 12v rail (I want to ugrade to 6600 down the road).
