Hey! Sorry for my bad english and i hope i create this at the right section.
I have this pc: i7 2700k
motherboard msi gd65
rams corsair 2x4gb at 1600
ssd for storage
and an msi gtx560ti Hawk.
My friend got the same pc except prossecor who have i7 2600k
a sirial ata hdd
and msi ati7850oc. The problem is that we try 2 games Farcry 3 and Battlefield 3 and we see that at his pc with my graphic card and his graphic card we could play them perfect but when we try to my pc we had problem with low fps (20-30 max with same settings) and high temps at my msi gtx560 ti hawk. I cant understand what is happening. We both got Windows 7 same edition...Can anyone suggest me something? Thanks in advance

What PSU do you have?
What case do you have?
Which SSD do you have?
Are both of you using the same exact drivers when he has your GTX 560 TI installed in his system?
What happens when you installed his HD 7850 in your PC?

I have PSU Thermaltak 730w
My case is good but old cuase the air flow is ok
SSD:eek:cz agility 3
we got the same drivers
and when i installed his hd 7850 it died had in farcry 3 30-45 fps max while in his pc got 55-60
and in bf3 44-52fps while in his pc got 52-55...

Is that the Thermaltake Smart 730W?

Can you find a picture of the case? If the airflow was "ok", you wouldn't actually be seeing high temps with your GTX 560 Ti in the first place. Since your GTX 560 TI is supposedly running hot, it could be due to the case itself. With that said, the GTX 560 TI was hot-running card in general.

If you haven't already, try reformatting and reinstalling the OS.

And just to be clear, both of you have monitors with the same resolution correct? And both of your are playing at the exact same settings corect?

i got Thermaltake Smart 730w
i cant find any picture of my case... i got it 6-7 years :/ also only my vga got high temps when i installed his never went over 59c.
and yes both have the same resolution and same settings... :(

Wait, so the high temperatures occurred with his case as well?

Hmm, if you have a spare hard drive, install Windows 7 in trial mode 9don't input the serial key) on that hard drive with your PC. Make sure the SSD is disconnected when you boot from that spare drive. That way you can rule out or confirm an OS issue.

nope only in mine case and mine vga...
and i will try reformating and hope i see some difference

Then your case isn't providing enough cooling then for the hot-running GTX 560 TI. The HD 7850 was relatively cool in your case because it uses significantly less power and generates less heat than the GTX 560 Ti. Which means it doesn't need as much cooling as the GTX 560 TI would.

may be this is true i will check for that :) but this doesnt answer why my friends pc working better with my vga :) and why his vga in my pc doesnt work that well :(

thank you anyway! :)

Still waiting to see the results of your reformat and reinstall.

Are both of you using the same PSU?

The case issue may not be related to the performance issue you're seeing but it would explain the temperature issue you're seeing.

i see :) i cant do it right now cause i study atm i will do it in 3-4 days and i will reply here :) thank you very much!
