That pisses me off. I understand lobbying for f/oss friendly laws, but donations to a pac or directly to a candidate have no place in f/oss organizations.

They're still individuals. Would you prefer they support Google? I don't find it at all surprising that left leaning politicians support Mozilla.

I don't understand what you are saying? Mozilla is 3 groups some are for profit and some are not and they're making political donations. "They're still individuals" isn't saying anything. It's a truism, like saying water is wet...edit: individuals are making the donations, fair. I wasn't understanding this point at all as I look at [H] 99.9% from my phone and missed that bit.

The February 25, 2025 Mozilla.org privacy notice update on Mozilla.org.

Firefox was essentially a Google subsidiary and their most recent business model is to do exactly what Google was ruled against here only to do it even harder.
