Hello. My buddy is having a problem with his setup, and I'm trying to help him, but we're both stuck!
The motherboard has two RAID controllers: the first is an Intel Matrix P45, and the second is a Sillicon Image SIL5723. On the Matrix controller there is a 3-disk (750GB ea.) RAID5 array, and on the SI there is a 2-disk (500GB ea.) RAID0 array.
The problem is the system won't recognize the Matrix controller at all (in BIOS or Windows) when the SI one is enabled. It doesn't even show the Matrix RAID management menu on boot when it's enabled.
Any advice? Is this a known issue, or does anyone know of a workaround?
