When running ChromeOS, older Asus Chromebox units are the most stable computers I've ever seen. They run for months or years without ever glitching or crashing. This year I'm upgrading and found Asus Chromebox 6a difficult to find. So I bought an Acer Chromebox CXI6 unit. Its end of life plan is similar to Asus's.
Chrome browser tabs crash somewhat frequently in the new Acer unit. Does this suggest a warranty claim for possibly bad hardware? My logic is that other Intel-based units run ChromeOS flawlessly under identical scenarios, so the fault does not lie within software.
