Watch the VR Viking get eaten alive by dinosaurs on Island 359 in VR that just came out of Early Release yesterday. The island itself covers six square miles and it is incredibly easy to lose your bearings. He just dropped in and looks like lunch to me. The thumbnail below shows a menu screen, so don't let that turn you off.

Check out the stream.

Island 359 is a Virtual Reality survival game for the HTC Vive and Oculus Touch. Players will scrounge for weapons, upgrades, food, and other items they can find to survive for as long as they can against hordes of dinosaurs, as they explore the increasingly dangerous, beautiful, and expansive island.

Lets "watch them" Play = why should I buy the movie if I can watch it for free at your house

So watching porn is close enough to sex so why bother with the extra work?

Edit: Looks like another room breaker. Already the wife hates when I play Gorn, something about her not feeling safe. *shrugs*

Don't you have that virtual wall thing set up? It really helps to have the boundaries pop up when you're in vr less you try and put your hand through a window.

That usually works, until you are losing and your in game vision starts fading, and the only way to stay up is to kill another gladiator. Ain't no body got time to worry about where the TV is!

I had the full default wall up yesterday and damn near broke my arm and tried to punch out a window. That said, Drunkn Bar Fight lives up to its name. Actually it is the only game I have had those "issues" with.

Yeah.. depending on the size of the room and the type of game, they should allow developers to pull in those virtual walls a foot or two for safety.

Probably best to not let developers mess with safety boundries. The less hands in that pot the better IMO. I have all mine set 1-2 feet in from edges, you just sometimes dont see the edge fast enough.

It really boils down to personal responsibility, and sometimes I just let that go lol. So far only have punched a ceiling fan, threw a controller at the tv and tripped over a foot stool. No permanent damage yet.

Like put up a warning "Breaking your immersion is better than breaking your hand/window/tv. Use our warning option to pull in the boundaries to account for crazy/wild fun"
Current is 3.4mX2.4m and that is not enough room for this game.

I was having a mental image of wireless vr and someone wandering out of the house into traffic.
