Is this thing worth upgrading?

I'd like to get a little more life out of my current PC. My goal is to play Skyrim on at least low, maybe mid, settings. I've been thinking about building a new one altogether and giving this one away to a family member but I'd like to hold out a little longer if possible.

Specs:
E8400 Core 2 Duo 3.0ghz (stock heatsink fan. Waiting for a new one to show up to try overclocking for the first time)
Corsair XMS2 4GB RAM
ASUS P5Q-Pro motherboard
Crucial 64GB SSD Sata III C300
WD Caviar Blue 7200rpm 640GB
HD 4850 GPU
I don't remember my power supply... I think it's a 600W Corsair

Any upgrades that would be worth it or should I start from scratch for Skyrim? Thanks.
