That was the same GPU I got before I finally acquired a 3080 and sold the 3090.

And, yeah, that GPU could mine well enough.
 
Also depends what you are paying and when you expect to get a return on your investment.
 
I was able to get 35 feet before I experienced edge blunting along the pcie card edge. this was in a coarse silicon environment but I got dubloons in my pantaloons
 
I had one kinda like that, but decided that the onboard graphics was just fine for mining....

just gotta make sure you are down to level 6 for the maximum amount of diamonds...and watch out for zombies and creepers.
 
Mining on a 3090 is a bit stupid though. Get 3070s or if you want to dabble with software get a non LHR 3060 or a 6800 if you can find one around 1 G caps.
