yet im worried about my chipset temp...

showing 50+c and its accurate cuz its at a burning touch almost..

what should i do to fix this?

(note) the chipset is not on water. just my gpu and cpu

also when i try to burn dvd's at about 20% into the burn my whole comp restarts with no warnings or anything..

Yes.

Get some air on it or add a MCH/NB water block.

Lack of "blow by" from the stock HS/fan over the power mosfets surrounding the cpu socket is probally cooking them as well.

thanks for the response bill

ill try re applying thermal to it and adding a 40-60mm fan to it if that doesnt work well then i guess i have to get the chipset cooler..

the mosfets are fine i can touch them and dont feel much heat so my guess is that they are around 20-35c

wow that is great. not real up on DFI's apparently they did the VRM right.

holy heck after replacing the thermal with shin estu and adding a 80mm cheapy to it its now at 20-21c !!!

:D guess its overclocking time haha
