Is this a decent build?

The price is reasonable considering that it's from a good PC boutique. It's a solid build.

That 2 TB seagate hard drive is VERY overpriced. You can spend half of that $130 on the same drive on amazon.

*edit* Actually, dont like the prices at all.

Its just that the hard drive was the easiest price to catch.

You're paying $2100 for a system you could build for $1600 (I assumed $150 for a top-quality case). Not horrible markup, but not a "deal" either. EDIT: did not include windows, sorry.

Quality case - 150 max
750W EVGA® SuperNOVA 80 Plus - 85

Z170-A - 150
6700k - 350 (when it's available, it should settle down to this price)
16GB DDR4 - 100
GTX 980 - 475
EVO 250 - 100

2TB hard drive - 70
Optical drive - 20
Basic tower cooler -30

Win 10 Home OEM - 100

Total before tax/shipping = $1630.

Yeah, the markup on "accessories" is astronomical. $640 for a $475 video card! $135 for a 70 dollar hard drive! You also can't choose integrated graphics, so they can still soak you for $165 for a $120 GTX 750 Ti.

Does that 1500.00 include the win10 pro license? When would the 6700k be available?

No, I'm sorry it's doesn't. So add another $100. Also, the build you linked is Home, not pro

Don't know when the 6700k will be available. That said, buying from an OEM like this doesn't guarantee you'll have it earlier - they say the 30th, but it could take longer. Most of these builders reserve the right to sit on your order for several weeks, if you read the fine print. You should research that if you want it tomorrow.

But overall this is a decent price from an OEM. If you want the hand holding, then go for it! :D
