Is there a "preferred" Driver for TitanXP or Pascal era cards, just wondering?

About to format, and am currently using the latest on nvidias site and just not to thrilled with the performance from them. Only game I play is FC5 and was just wondering if there was a preferred driver on the interwebs I should use and NOT this latest one on nvidias website. I know reading on another forum some were suggesting 39x.xx version to stick with but cant remember the correct number and cant find the post anymore. thanks for any feedback..

I've been using the latest drivers for the last several generations of NVIDIA GPUs and haven't ever had an issue. There do seem to occasionally be drivers that are more problematic (though personally I've not had a problem) but it's rare.
