I have been having some issues with my pc and need to have a friend look it over. I currently have...

I recently brought an XFX GX260NADFF GTX260 896M RT and 4gbs of memory.
Based on these latest purchases- will that make my system sorta up to date to handle newer games FarCry , UT3, possibly crysis? also any feedback on the mobo that I have and if it will be another good upgrade to get another MB?

Yes, your system is fairly up to date. What resolution do you play games at? You're pretty much fine for up to 1920x1200 with most games.

As for the mobo, the one you have now isn't that great. However, if you aren't having any problems with it, there's no need to replace it.
 
I would suggest getting 4GB of DDR2 ram. If you feel that your system can't handle what you need it to, it may be time to upgrade.
 
Agreed, 4GB and vid were the best way to go.
Also Overclock it if you havent.

Im running almost the same as yours, and the only upgrade i made was the vid card a year ago. Ill probably wait till this years black friday to even start thinking about assembling a new pc. by then, the i7 prices should come down enough to justify it, if not, ill wait another year, maybe upgrade the vid card again. A lot depends on the software (and games) that come out. If the new Physics engines that use i7 go into games, then ill upgrade sooner rather than later.

i have a C2D E6400 running at almost 3Ghz. needless to say, its pretty fast and gets the job done. P5B Deluxe with a 8800GTS 512 MB. (had a 1900XT before) and the same Raptor as you.
Mind you, i built mine the day C2D came out.
