Is anyone using a 12VHPWR Cable Mod cable?

Suprisingly EVGA doesn't make much of anything anymore even PSUs. I have a Backup Corsair 850 watt with the same cable incase it decides to kick the bucket.

At this point, I feel they stay in business for the sheer hope that someone someday will buy them out for the use of their name alone.

I bought a cablemod cable for my 5090 using an EVGA 1600w psu. Looks great and have had no issues

Ya :(. I felt like they were headed that way when they got out of GPUs. I know they said it was because nVidia doesn't let the AIBs make any money but let's be real: ASUS, MSI, PNY, etc would not all be doing it for charity. They make money, I'm sure eVGA was making money, there was something else that happened. Since then it seems like they just keep making less and less, which is not really a strategy for survival.

I certainly wouldn't get rid of their PSUs if you have one, there is no reason they won't work for many years to come... but I'd hesitate to buy a new one from them.
