Will a 750W PSU be enough for the following?

ASUS M3A78-T AM2+/AM2 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)
AMD Phenom 9950 2.6GHz Socket AM2+ 125W Quad-Core Black Edition
ASUS Triton 85 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler - Retail
BD&DVD +DL R/W Burner
ATI HD4870x2

With future addition of second HD4870x2 to run in Xfire and another 1TB HDD to run raid.
 
Will a 750W PSU enough for the following?
A good quality 750W PSU with 60A on the +12V rail should be enough but I say it's cutting a bit close. Go with the BFG ES-800 800W PSU for a little more headroom.
 
Someone mentioned to me a modular PSU reduces wire clutter in the case. Are there disadvantages to it?
