hi i just got my 2500mobile to stabilize for 6 hours using prime95. load temp is 45c.

i'm wondering if my vcore is dangerous to my cpu

No. People run 2.0v-2.1v on water.

I tried mine @ 2.0v on air to see if I could get into Windows @ 2.5GHz but it overheated on the way there and shut off the computer. Heh.. :p

You'll be fine.

My Thoroughbred runs 1.75 all day long, and will be running 1.95v-2v when I get water.

1.7 is perfectly safe. it also isn't enough:D

i would be running about 2 volts through my mobile, but my motherboard won't let me (1.775 max - overvolts to 1.8) and i'm running at ~40C idleish because i don't have my watercooling hooked up ATM.

the core is perfectly safe (and within spec too) up to 2.0 volts if it is a barton core (which yours is)

good luck!

It is defineately safe to go to 1.7 volts. Try to push the voltage up a little, preferably below 1.85 volts(assuming you have air cooling). Then, you can reach a higher overclock.

i run my cpu at 1.85 volts on a slk-800 90-113F i really need a mobile... this is crap for oc
