iPhone is the competition and arguably the top smart phone It's always going to have people ready to flame. Personally the upgrade from a 3g to 4 is going to be a huge difference. I am patiently waiting for information about the early upgrade program if it's going to be offered. More than likely I will have to pay full price. I also hope to god that they have a pre-order, I hate fighting for a phone.

WHY are there so many Iphone 4 pre-orders? Figured everyone went to the EVO.
I had to order one...ordered on the phone from ATT...I was nice with all the delays I went through and they gave it to me for $149. I had been trying to order it online for $199 but it wasn't going through.
The reason I say I had to order one is because I have an Evo but Sprint service is horrible in the Brickell area of Miami, FL. The Sprint store in the Gables said that their towers don't play well with the buildings here. ATT even works in elevators here. I really wanted to keep this evo, but it's going to be back in Sprint's hands soon.

Yea, thinking about switching back sadly. Love the plan but whats the point if I can't get service/signal.... So sad that I have to switch back. I am going to wait for the white one though.
I really want to wait for the white one but I have to return the evo before the 30 days is up and I stupidly moved my number over which is a mess now. I should have tested the evo with a new number and kept my ATT account open until I knew for sure...plus that way I wouldn't have lost the "unlimited" data plan.

I would but I don't like the hardware that is offered right now. I'd get a motorola milestone but I have read about of update issues and glitches. A nexus one would be a good phone but I am wondering about the screen. The x10 is a pos and nothing else is worth looking at. The iPhone is a familiar device and I am happy with the interface. As well I can jailbreak the iPhone and get the apps that I can't get from the app store.

Does the iphone have a sip client yet? That is my main requirement outside of an actual cellphone.
