Ionic Breeze type cooling?

I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the technology invovled with the Ionic Breeze from shaper image and wether or not something like that could be modified for cooling purposes?

I find it fascinating that the product moves air without any moving parts and was curious if it would be possible to construct a heatsink that could pull the air across itself without the use of a fan.
 
I've got 2 ionic breezes, and they are cool little devices. Unfortunately, I don't think they could pull anywhere near enough air to effectively cool anything.

I've thought about trying to figure out how to build one to filter the air in my comp
though. That may be more possible.

I do agree, that a "fanless" ionic breeze heatsink would be a cool concept though.

These work by ionizing the air. This means making the air charged. This means that you don't want to put them near static sensitive devices.
