Does anyone know of some kind of program that I can run on a PC or server and it can take an inventory of everything installed and running on said machine. Thanks.

Edit: Can a mod please move, I thought I was in Gen Software... Oops.

I guess your problem is now solved, but for the heck of it I'll recommend Open-AudIT.

It's being actively developed and doesn't have "official" new releases often, so perhaps the best thing is just to get hold of the latest SVN build (instructions on how to do so here):

The easiest way to install it is to use XAMPP:

And there are several ways to run the audit on a PC, one straightforward informal way is just to enter the address of the Open-AudIT installation in your web browser and select Admin-->Audit My Machine.
