I thought I would take the time to introduce myself here at Hard. I have been lurking around these threads for months. I really must say I have not found a forum as good as this one for those that like to go beyond building the normal PC. My main rig is in the signature. I figured I would start to give back and start posting to the forum because much of the information here has been a invaluable resource to me. I did not see a real place on this forum to introduce myself, so feel free to move this post if it belongs somewhere else.
 
Welcome to the club! Looking at the specs of your rig in your signature, I believe that you'll fit in just fine.

The best way to introduce yourself is to jump right in to the forum and offer up suggestions in some of the build threads. No one here will bite -- much -- but you may have to defend your choices from time to time.

To add on to what Tiraides said, be sure to have legitimate links, sites, articles, etc backing up anything you recommend. Also, don't take things personally if your recommendations are criticized. In the end, we're all trying to make sure that the person we're helping get the best PC possible.
