Introducing The Caseless Case

I was expecting $5-15. For that much, I'll make my own. Would be good for the bench. Also, I don't like the power supply mounting method or the drives for that matter. I'd make it all on the top & side mounted, it would take about the same space.

Dust. What about dust ?

Besdies this, I can't see myself forking out more than 10 bucks maybe.

And the handle on the last picture ? Please .... get lost.

Besides this, I can't see myself forking out more than 5 bucks for that.

it would be great if there was a picopsu on there with a lower powered dual core/quad core system and a low powered graphics card. The fact that your psu is like that irks me a bit...

LOL, maybe you can mod an acrylic cutting board. :p

I wouldn't mind one of these if it were cheaper and stackable. Having 2-3 systems stacked in a mid-tower sized footprint would be pretty sweet.

Doesn't beat these shameless cases, though:

(credit goes to the authors of these marvels)

I'd rather have a good looking case than a tray of parts sitting on my desk

would make a great diagnostic pc to fast swap and test components. not worth $75 if that was converted right by BoogerBomb, but would pay $30 max.

Yup, it was converted properly (actually a few cents more). The site also states that it's exclusive to Japan. Copyright issues?

The main motivation for this must have been that it costs about $1.25 to manufacture.

I suppose if I had an acrylic stamping machine, then I'd design stuff like this, too.

thats aboout a 1008 dollars I think I could go to tap plastics and get the pieces cut for less than a 100.

bah scratch that i put an extra 0 in my converter 100 bucks including shipping not so bad .

do you know how much of a pain it is to work with watercooling within a case?

i went all out and fitted everything in a case the first go i went with watercooling. within a month, it was all out on my desk.

recently i fitted another case. and i'm ripping my hair out now.

That just screams, broken PCIe slot. Pick it up, watch the vidcard bend over and probably fall out.

Retarded idea, terrible price. It's just a death trap for static, heat, and dust. I don't see fans pulling away heat or dust.

I had a friend who did the same thing on a piece of packing styrofoam. For free. Needed a quick LAN rig for a friend.

You can get the same thing by cutting a mobo tray out of $10 case.

Since we all agree that the "Caseless Case" was a crap idea, can we let this thread die in peace please ?
Thank you.

Lasts longer. Course a sheet of wood would do the same thing.
