Lets start with some information about you, I know you have folded before and had a little hiatus and have returned, but beyond that, theres more to know;
About You:
Where do you call home?
Long Island, NY Love it here, beaches and boating galore!
What is your family situation?
I live with my father and my feathered, furry and scaled children: Six Diamond Doves, Yellow Nape-Amazon, Senegal Parrot, two cats and a betta.
What do you do for a living?
used to work at Home Depot, and I loved it there actually! But then I was injured while at work and have been on Workers Comp since. That was back in 2005! Have something called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy in my foot... So my computer is pretty much my life, as I can't walk without extreme pain and a cane. It keeps me from going crazy from boredom
Does your forum name hold any significant meaning?
Well.. my online name and gaming names have always been Syribo. Back when I was in 7th grade, in the days of role playing in AOL chat rooms, I created a character named Syribo Tigereyes. I just loved the way Syribo sounded (Sigh-ree-bow, is how I pronounce it, in case anyone else was wondering how the heck it was pronounced) so I use it for EVERYTHING
Did you ever post in the "Let's see your mug... " thread? Why or why not?
Yes I did!! I think it's back on page 10, though that picture is from ~2005. Have a newer one in my "Feels good to be back" thread
What other hobbies or interests keep you busy?
Mainly video games and reading. I love love reading books.. I'm a sucker for forensics thrillers, police procedurals, those kind of things. Oh and I unfortunately have a thing for.. REALITY TV. As far as video games go.. I'll play most anything, I'm not a fan of just one genre. If it's good, I'll play it I also like doing graphic design work and sketching.
Lets move to your involvement with Distributed Computing:
Who or what got you stated in DC projects? About when was it?
I was a member of [H] first. I first joined the forum to get some help on my first ever computer build. Ended up loving the people here and I found myself curious one day to check out the Distributed Computing board, as I had no idea what it was. I read all the Stickys and went to the F@H site and was instantly intrigued and read even further on Distributed Computing.
Why do you participate?
I participate because I have these systems that idle all day, when they could be doing something to hopefully help mankinds future. It gives me a good feeling to know that I might help, even just a little bit.
If DC'ing could find a cure for just one disease tomorrow, which one would it be and why?
Cancer. There are so many diseases and illnesses out there, but cancer has touched my life and my families lives. We lost our patriarch, my Grandpa, in August to colon cancer. I would give my own life in return for a cure for cancer.
What projects have you contributed to? Any others you find interesting?
Nothing but F@H yet!
What teams have you contributed to?
Pfft, like I would ever fold for anyone but 33
Why did you choose the Horde?
Because of the admiration I hold for our team. Some of you guys are so dedicated to your projects.. it's incredible.
If your current project ends, which one will you move on to?
I'm not sure! What ever needs the most help?
Current level of production and how's it spread around?
I have two PC's which together are running two GPU clients, one text-only, and two SMP in Vista. My PS3 is folding 24/7 also. The majority of my points come from my newest computer, the other PC is an old Dell Dimension from 2003 I'm not sure on what my PPD is, at this moment.
Where do you see the [H]ard DC sub-forum in the near future? Long term?
Still around for sure! I've been away from [H] for a while, but I had not one doubt in my mind that DC was without a doubt still around, and that you guys were just as crazy (The good crazy) as always I feel that DC will continue to prosper.
Any ideas on improving the [H]ard DC sub-forum, or suggestions or improvements for our Team?
I am too insignificant to have any good ideas to improve this place.. especially because the way it's run already is great, I wouldn't change a thing!

Ahh, my first PC ever? I don't remember everything about it but.. I do remember the first day my dad's friend brought over our first computer ever. It was about 1994 or 1995, I was 10 years old.. and it was the most beautiful thing ever. 133mhz, 16MB RAM, 14.4k modem.
What are you running today?
My main PC's specs are:
Q6600 @ 3.4GHz (Though right now it's at stock) w/ Zerotherm Nirvana
MSI P7N Diamond Mobo
8GB DDR2 RAM
2 EVGA 8800GTS (512MB) GPUs
2 500GB Seagate 7200.11 HDDs
Vista 64-bit on a Samsung 245T 24" Monitor
Built this guy two years ago.. and it still packs a punch! Maxes anything I throw at it
What plans do you have in moving forward? Where do you see your DC'ing activities in the next year or two?
Well... if I had the money, I would be planning an i7 build right now... but, I'm currently fighting Workers Comp for money so.. that won't be happening However, if I do somehow come across a large sum of money...... there will be a new folding machine over the horizon for me! Otherwise, I plan to continue folding for as long as I can
Do these boxen have day jobs or are they dedicated folders?
I use the good PC for pretty much everything I do.. gaming, internet stuff, multimedia stuff, etc. My Dell is pretty much just a dedicated folding system right now. I actually don't use my PS3 much either.. so it folds 24/7 hehe.

Have you been successful borging? If so, what kind of borging worked for you? (For example, friends, family, and/or work?)
I borged my sisters computer, she lives a few miles away and I stay with her quite a few times a year, so I was able to check on it a lot. She had it reformatted recently, though, so I haven't re-borged it yet. I haven't tried borging anything else yet, heh.
Is there anything else you would like to add? Did I forget to ask you anything?
Uhm........ I can't think of anything else How about... I love drinking coffee, and if you love drinking coffee and are looking for a new coffee maker, try one of the Keurig's! It's awesome using the K-Cups to make coffee. Turn machine on. Put coffee cup in. Press Brew. Voila, one cup of fresh coffee in less than a minute. I tell everyone I know about the wonder of the Keurig ... If you didn't know or have one already!
