I have the Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard which has the onboard ICH10R controller running Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) version 10.1.0.1008 according to the RAID bios. (This is for my RAID array)
I am wondering, should I only install the same version of the driver software (10.1.0.1008) in Windows7?
The reason I ask is because there is a new version of the Intel RST driver for Windows (10.5.*).
My question is, does the software driver version need to match the hardware BIOS version for the Intel Rapid Storage Technology. Or can I update to a newer software version?
