Intel QuickSync in an ESXi VM?

I have to laugh because the 3rd link in google is this thread....

I did google and of course followed your very smart let-me-google-it-for-you query...
However, the question remains open, I could not find anyone that has really first-hands experience. That's normally the reason to ask here.

I only found general posts regarding ESXi's support for GPUs. Reading that, QuickSync does not seem to be possible at the moment but that's just what I read between the lines...
