Akasa AK-913 EVO 33--don't think that'll work with that chip. I'd go with the Zalman, lots of people have good results with it. Instead of the Seasonic, look into the PC Power & Cooling. It's a little more $, but well worth it.

I'm guessing he already has optical drives?

That is kind of a small hard drive, you can get a 300 gig for not much more.

Also, is he planning to OC? Some of the Core Duo chips are very affordable, and OC very well, not that the 930 doesn't too...

I think the system looks AWESOME.

Not sure about the heatsink, but everything else looks PERFECT.

Very good cooling and very quiet. I have a Freezer 7(not pro) and I can't hear it at all. Just order a Freezer 64 pro for may AMD rig. Most say it's as good as a XP-90.

Thats a nice PC your building . Heat sink???? Try to buy a 975x chipset that is Conroe ready . So a future Conroe cpu will work!!!!

Is there even a board out yet that supports it? I am willing to dump a bunch of cash on a new rig if there is a board that will support it. Which reminds me, i need to start buying all the parts that WONT change in 6 months
