The ONLY real reason I was considering alienware was because of the user upgradable graphics. It would really help my bank account out in the long run for gaming. Todays games are so dependant on video cards that I can actually afford to have a laptop as a solution for gaming. A couple years back, a laptop as a full gaming rig was a joke because if anyone actually wanted to keep up to date with the games you would have to look into getting a whole new laptop. Which is ridiculous needless to say. Not so today. I'm looking to replace my desktop with the laptop. I've heard wonders about the emachines 6805/6807....but it just doesnt fit the bill. Any suggestions on user upgradable GPUs?

(this is my laptop for gaming rant.. every fucking thing is exaggerated)
(p.s. alienware is what I like to call overpriced piece of mother.. shit!)

You moron, making statements that aren't even based in reality, and obviously with no personal experience.
Did you see that I was getting 125 FPS in a Q3 engine game? And thats 32 bit, 1400x1050, highest settings in game. Thats a bit different than the 30 FPS you are trying to pawn off.
My desktop system is thouroughly smoked by my laptop. Albeit my desktop runs a GF4 ti 4600 and an AMD Athlon @ 1600. But this is still a decent setup nonetheless, nothing to scoff at. As far as ghosting is, I've had zero problems. The only issue I have with my laptop is the battery life. I can only play games for about 3-3.5 hrs on batteries, which isn't all that bad considering its running a desktop CPU in it.
So please try not to give advice to someone when you haven't a clue as to what you are talking about. With the anonymity of the internet, someone might take your ignorant rants as truth.
