Looks like the drop is today. The local Microcenter shows only 4 of the ASrock Challenger models as of this AM. Thoughts?

You can reserve one though which is nice. Its how I was able to get B580s

~15% less performance than a B580 for ~15% less cost. Seems fair. Like how the Sparkle card looks in the GN video.

Wonder how well this does with AV1 vs the B580.

Looks like the B570 hasn't totally sold out. Last night Newegg still had they AsRock Challenger, now they have the Sparkle model. Amazon has the Sparkle version too, same price. B&H is taking "pre-orders" for a couple models of B570 and one model of B580. I'd call that being on backorder, but whatever.

edit: grammar

Newegg just got stock on B570/580 today. And they are the reasonable price brands sold by Newegg. Get one while they last.

If they could build the series in the US they would sure sell a lot, with tariffs I mean. Would really put Intel in a nice place.

I been messing with an Intel Arc A770 for over a year and the B570 is that same system now running flawlessly for everything that I do daily like watching Youtube hehe, it's a nice card and well worth the $219 if you can catch it for that price, still tax and shipping makes it like $240 total.

Moved the card over to my B550 / 5700x setup as to see just how much of a drop off would be as I'm sure that info is wanted more than my AM5 info.

Another Newegg stock refresh today but same old shipping nonsense... $5-10 extra.

Someone posted the link in another thread but Onix is affiliated or a part of Sapphire. Post your experience with it for the community!

Ah, good to know, and I will post up after I get it.

I spend less time on my Plex box these days and it seems a waste to leave a 4080 in it, so I thought I'd give an Intel gpu a shot. Been wanting one for awhile, never got one, but the price and performance of these B series seem pretty decent.

I have to say the Onix card is built fairly well. No plastic backplate, two slot, seems quiet. Plex recognizes it and puts it to use.
I ran a few benches on it. It doesn't get very warm or loud.

Seems to pair fair enough with a 14700K at 1080.

I heard that brand is a spin - off of Sapphire or Power Color, kind of like ASRock makes cards for more than one brand of gpu maker, what does it come up in 3D Mark Firestrike? does is still say Onix.

After playing with the B570 for about a month and seeing how Intel has followed up in the months since, I have these conclusions

OBS performance is terrible
It's far less glitchy with older D3D9 titles than the Arc A310, but in the end I feel like Battlemage is just less defective than Alchemist overall.
Still defective. Intel seems to agree.

C u with Celestial.

I'm not convinced anything is coming next from Intel videocard-wise.

I have been using a A750 and have a A770 16gb still new in the box, guess I should forget about reselling it for profit and "upgrade" my 750. Playing at 2k I have been fine with 8gb I think, but WTH...
