installing ssd

i am getting my intel ssd next week and have one question , i could not find on intels website. would it be better to do a fresh install of windows seven or use the migrate ?
i do not have many files to loose so it seems to me a fresh instll would be better.
will be gratefull for your feedback.

I had too much stuff so I did a fresh install. There are some guides on installing a SSD to have trim working properly, a bios setting, possibly disabling some services once you are up and running. Not sure if windows like likes the sata mode changing, so that would be a concern of keeping the old OS.

A fresh install of w7 will allow your machine to tweak some settings for your SSD and align your OS correctly.

Make sure the BIOS is in AHCI mode when doing the install.
