Ok I was given some money as a business expense from my boss to upgrade and I chose to get a 128GB SSD for my year and a half old laptop (HP DV5Z-1000).

Google wasn't much help, for once, so I'm posting here. I just bought it and it hasn't shipped yet, so if I can't figure this out I can likely cancel it. When I opened my laptop's hard drive bay the connector on the back is different than what I expected. I've never installed a 2.5" drive but I can tell this isn't typical desktop stuff.
Here's a pic of what I mean:

It looks like the actual SATA connection is on a board underneath the hard drive, shown here (it's white, towards the top):

So is this installation going to be possible? Or should I pay someone to do it for me, which I'd rather not. Does Microcenter do this sort of stuff for a fee, I live close by one?
