Installing 2nd video card

I have an 8800GT and I'm connecting both of my monitors via DVI. I've installed a 2nd card, a radeon x1300 to use DVI to HDMI to connect to my TV.

Do I need to install specific drivers for the Radeon? Should it be auto detected by windows? I don't want to install any drivers that might conflict with existing hardware.

Motherboard is an Asus P5Q-E

You're gonna have to install ATI drivers to use that ATI card.

Nothing detected. I installed the 'package' including the drivers and ccc for Vista 64 since there are no W7 specific drivers. Nothing recognized.

Try the Windows XP 64bit version. See if this works

used the 9.11 drivers? even though they say vista they should work in windows 7.. the ATI and nvidia drivers will not conflict with each other in windows vista/7.. one of the nice features..
