error 1723 btw...

yes but its my teachers computer and of course she needs alot of stuff on it and no burner or anything is present...

i never thought about an update tho...

Exactly what is the error message it is giving? It sounds similar to a problem i was having when installing Office XP to a 98 awhile ago. Which i was able to solve, by deleting(but backing up first) the MSI.dll in c:\windows\system32. Since it was apparently an older version. The installer would then install its own to replace it. It installed fine after that.

Partition it so that it can dual boot
She could use the files from 95, and have the (errr) stability of 2k
