Insanely low 3D Mark scores...

I am getting a really low 3D mark, any ideas why? System is as follows:

2500+
NF7-S
256MB 5900 flashed to 5950U @ 489/902
Voodoo4 4500 (for 3rd monitor)
1GB PC2700

I remember running 3dmark a while ago when i got the card and it was like 5500, somethhing around there. Ran it today, heres my results...

Ran 3D mark - 3225
Changed AGP aperature from 64MB to 256MB - 2936
Reinstalled drivers, card at 450/750 - 3305
Took out Voodoo4 - 3312
Turned fast writes off - 3327

So, what is going on. There is no reason to be getting scores this low.... could it have something to do with getting SP2...i heard 3dm03 has issues with that....
 
yeah, I was running at 4x/8x... 1024x768

would that really make the score go so low? When I ran 3dm03 when i got the card, like i said I got like 5500, AA and AF was probably app controlled. I dont think AF and AA and AA would make me loose 2000+ marks...

I also noticed my average FPS in the MOH demo dropped for 35fps to about 20fps since I last played it a bit over a week ago...

And right now I am not overclocking the card at all...its running at 450/750... stock 5900 speeds are 400/800 but the flash changed them....the card OCs pretty high, so its not like the extra 50mhz on the core is pushing it... I get about 40C when in windows, hits like 51C under load, so im not getting to hot either

your kidding me right? having aa and af enabled while running any 3d benchmark would cripple your score, easy way to check, GO DISABLE THEM! LOL

rofl haha. You know when you add image quality settings, they do generally as a rule take away performance. Not the other way around :)

Why don't you overclocked that 2500? Loosen the timings for that ram, or just push it as far as it will go. THat will get you some performance for nothing.
I'll tell you one thing though, I installed service pack 2 for my PC. Go windows now it feels like my old p2 450 with it's service pack 1 for win98. Slow and sluggish. So overbloated with nonsense. Some of the features are not too bad though :)
 
anybody who runs 3dmark with all eye candy turned on and expect to get high score is crazy.... ya out of freaky mind LOLLOLOLOL

Ick.. lol over looked that. Ya I installed SP2 and my scores dropped a lot.. but not at all in games. Its probably something with sp2.. 3dmark03 conflicts
 
meh...I know that AA and AF would hurt the score, but I didnt think it would almost cut it in half....I will run the benchmark agian later, just got back from school, gotta work in a half hour.

And as far as OCing my 2500+, no can do. Outta the two 512MB sticks I have, one is a total piece of shit. Its rated at166 and wont even post at 171... and thats witht he slock timings, 3-7-7-15 I believe. Its just total crap, but I cant afford to replace it at the moment.
