Infinity Ward "looking into" dedicated servers for CODMW3 on PC

Face it, Bowling is a bullshit artist whose sole concern is maximizing hype and increasing pre-orders. Half the shit he spewed about MW2 and some of the stuff he has said about MW3 was and is patently false. He pulled the same crap with MW2 and no doubt is doing the same here.

Again lol. Have you ever played blops? Your favorites like to dissapear. And when you do wanna play on those couple favorites they are usually empty or full. Cod4 there were about 3 servers that I found fun to play on, they were mostly empty except if I played later in the evening. Why should I waste my time finding servers, in cod, when I just want to play?

I don't think there's a point arguing with you anymore, your set on hating cod. I enjoyed it as I had a better experience with matchmaking than servers in cod, so if your experience sucked then I see why your pissed.

Just curious...how good is your Internet connection? Did you pull host a lot when playing?

I never realized swearing was mature.

On another note, it's really not all that difficult to find a few servers you like, and add them to your favorites so you can hop right in. Hell, if you've got buddies on Steam or xfire, you can just join straight into their game. Of course, there are other games in the past that offer a 'Quick Play' option for those who just want to jump into a random game quickly. No reason that shouldn't be included.

I pay for 20mb/s(best in my area) but I had a kinda crappy router and shitty usb adapotor. It did make me host often but it would be really bad as everyone else would be playing with red bars. At the beginning/prime time I was usually not host. I did get a better router and adaptor by then so I was less prone to have bad connections to other hosts. My NAT was always open, never strict.

Cool. So when you weren't host your game still wasn't really laggy or anything?

Most of the time, yes. Like I said, I guess I was really lucky since I had no lag issues most of the time. Did I experience laggy games, yes and they were frustrating, but I had less of those.

Worked fine for me in BLOPS, COD 4 and just about every other game I have played which have employed dedicated servers for the past 2 decades or so, and you seem to be the exception rather than rule when it comes to opinions on dedicated servers.

As for using p2p to find a game quickly....rofl!
