Looking for the best gaming LCD/LED 23 or 24 would prefer 1900x1200 but im really just looking for the smoothest, great colors and good response time monitor..

i was looking into 120hz monitors but i wasn't impressed with any of them.. please correct me if i missed any great 3d 120hz monitors... i do not do 3d at all but if it looks anything like my 120hz LED tv id like to try it...

There are no good 1920*1200 monitors for gaming.

Look at Asus, Alienware or LG:s 1920*1080 120Hz screens. Those are great!

Dell U2311H or U2711 are good ways to go too.

U2410 simply offers to low resolution for that high price. Wouldnt go with that one.

Hi there. I know you said you weren't interested in 120hz LCD's, but from what I know they are better for gaming.

Here's the thread here with lots of information:

The Samsung P2770FH looks nice.

Since you want a gaming monitor I would choose a TN panel because they have the best response times, but not as good viewing angles.

what you think about this one... im leaning toward this one

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009222 or

I've heard good things about that Asus monitor as far as gaming goes. To be honest though, for $350, you could get a Dell U2311H or NEC EA231WMi which are e-IPS panels and have alot better color and viewing angles. They might not be AS fast in response times though. $350 just seems like alot for a TN panel.
