This is probably better suited for the worklog forum but I just don't care to reopen the batman worklog till I'm finished.

Anyway here are a few pics of what the case looks like without the lid. Minus the hard drives also since I don't have any satas at the moment.

I've been pluggin away at this thing slowly since other projects have come up. That's the big reason why I don't finish this already. That and it's fighting me every step of the way.

Ya, pretty much done. There's a few things left to get: HDD's, a 40-42" screen, and a receiver.

As far as the case goes, there's an appointment to get it pinstriped on the 8th but I'm not sure the budget allows that

my thoughts exactly. I've been following the worklog since the start, and i'm glad that's it's all finally coming together and looking sweet as.

Funny you mention that......i turned it on today and everything worked perfectly. I was surprised. I bought a 300gb sata drive (just 1) and installed xp. It looks sorta empty with one drive but hey this isn't a sponsored mod, I can't just toss out money left and right :D
 
PCI-E extender. I haven't yet fit the lid yet but I'm thinking that center piece that covers the power supply is gonna have to go...it's too tall. Not sure what to put there.

Nooooo , that cover is so beautiful. Why not just cut out a hole in the lid for it to fit (and show :p) That would look great IMO... but it might be a little big i guess
 
That is freaking sweet.

It's just me, but I think the whole thing would look better covered with the mesh you've got over the board/PS right now. The gaping holes between the components kinda bug me for some reason. My mind things is should be smoother.
 
It's so cramped right now I don't think anything else will fit in there. I'd like to put nicer looking mesh in, in general, but I don't care to waste anymore time on this. Once it's done, I'm not touching it again :D ............well because I have another case going already :D
 
Too bad, if I wasn't a broke-ass college student I'd offer to buy it in a heartbeat. Even with the nit-pick personal opinion, it's an amazing case.
 
So I'm waiting on the screen and whenever the photographer can fit me in....Here's to teasing :D

I remember when you started that case... it's been a while! You get the "Unique" award. Along with the "Interesting" and "different" award. The "Special" award is reserved.

Looks like the photoshoot is on for Thursday night.

I'm afraid to start a worklog on the new case. :D I'm giving it a month building time so hopefully it'll be so quick I won't need one.
 
FINNNALLLYYYYY Ive been waiting ages for some pics of this thing - i thought ud abandond us LOL!!

That is totally awsome and i would give you my Sony 40" TV brand new in box not even used yet if it meant this thing can be done quicker lol, im eager to see the final result (however my dad would then kill me later though about the TV LOL)

Is this project for a competition or something - contact the director of Batman begins and let him know that he can use this in his next batman film lol. You'd get alot for that i bet.

Ok so I got the TV today. 40" Samsung LCD. Cost = too much. Looks great with the case but I boxed it back up for tomorrow's shoot. I'll have "real world" pictures hopefully done on saturday when I set it up in a room. I wish I had a desk for the case/stand/speakers but none of mine fit so it'll have to stay atop the cheapy console I have.
