Honestly I haven't played around with raiding partitions in Windows. When you set up a raid 0 you end up with the capacity of the smallest drive times the number of disks, so if you raided your 40 and 20 you'd end up with a 40GB raid 0 and 20GB of extra space on the 40.
In Linux you can do twisted shit... you could append the 20 and 40 together to make a 60GB volume, then partition the 80 as a 60GB and a 20GB volume. The 20GB part of the 80 would end up as a non-raid volume, but you could stripe or mirror the 60GB partition on the 80 and the 60GB appended volume from the 20 and 40 to end up with a 60GB raid-1 or a 120GB raid-0 volume.
