I've got a couple IDE hard drives and I would like to continue using them for storage rather then just letting them sit around unused. However my current computer doesn't have any ide ports or molex power connectors. I've been looking around for items that would allow me to continue use the drives however I'm having trouble finding anything that actually looks reliable.

While full speed usage would be nice, I would be happy just so long as I can find a way to use them. So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to go about this without using poorly designed parts that are more likely to destroy the drives then let me continue using them.

The easiest way to "just use them" would be external USB enclosures. Other than that, sata -> molex adapters and a PCI IDE controller. they're less than $30

Looking around at PCI IDE controllers I came across the Syba SY-PCI45004 does anyone know if it is any good and works with Vista x64? Looks like it would do what I need and isn't too expensive but I can't find much information about it.

Also for the sata to molax adapters, I assume this would be what I need?
