i7-860 Build Help

Hey all, new member to the board as I'm looking for some advice on an i7-860 build I've been planning, currently using a pre-built which I bought before I realised how easy it was to build yourself so I'm now looking to upgrade, please take a look and if theres any components I can improve or change let me know, thanks:

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Primarily gaming.

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Hoping to keep under £600 but can probably stretch to around £650.

3) Where do you live?
England.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. Please be very specific.
CPU, RAM, Mobo, Case, CPU Heatsink, CPU Heatsink Fans.

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Corsair HX620, GTX 275, Hard Drives, DVD Drive.

6) Will you be overclocking?
Maybe a long shot but hoping to get 4GHz?

7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
1680x1050, 1920x1200 in the near future.

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Before Christmas.

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? etc.
SLI would be nice but otherwise a good OCer for an i7-860.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license?

First items listed were what I was going to originally purchase but the seconds I added since they looked promising as an alternative.

Was also looking to keep to a Black / Red colour scheme but that's not really important compared to the components themselves. Anyway, I've finished typing so any advice please, thanks.

Even with overclocking in mind, DDR3 2000 RAM is overkill. In fact, even if you weren't overclocking, you would not notice a performance difference between DDR3 1333 and DDR3 2000 RAM. So try to find the cheapest DDR3 1600 RAM from a reputable brand and you'll be set.

Case wise, that's totally up to you. Chose the case whose look you like the most

Mobo wise, I'd go with the eVGA. Overclocking capability is the same IIRC as the Asus mobo you listed

HSF wise, I think the Prolimatech cools a bit better but the Corsair is pretty quiet. Personally I'd go with the Corsair.

I agree with Danny.

What are you using the Kaze's for? just regular case fans or for the mega?

If using them on the mega, make sure the fan clips can fit a 38mm deep fan, since they hook the outside/farside screwholes instead of the inside/nearside holes. BTW, those are sleeve bearing fans -- I'd highly suggest getting better bearing-type fans, like the S-Flex instead -- last much longer. You don't want your CPU fans failing.

Thanks for the replies, I was going to use the Kazes for the heatsink fans yeah, the S-Flex SFF21F would be better suited for it I guess?

Indeed. The speed is up to you (D/E/F). Many people will buy the fastest (F) and simply voltmod them if they're too loud. The Kaze/Slipstream fans are better suited as case fans, IMO.
