For once on the internet, your opinion matters! ;)

Having gradumatated and landed a job at Big Blue, I now have disposable income, huray! I have decided to spend my extra income on a new rig. To get started I'd like you guy's suggestions and opinions on a nice case. (Mods, please move this thread if it's in the wrong place, thanks).

I'd like the case to be roomy, good air flow, easy to work in, and I'd really like a removeable motherboard tray. I'd like it to look nice unmodded. I MIGHT mod it down the road. I MIGHT add watercooling later. Weight isn't really an issue. I like case windows but they aren't a necessity (I can mod one later if worse comes to worst). I'd like to spend less than $200. Preferably around $100.

But let's hear your comments and suggestions. What cases do YOU like that might work for me? Thanks in advance, it's always nice to see what other people's tastes are.
 
Lian-Li cases look very nice in person. I had a PC-60 model that was top-notch and looked nice, plus there is a large Lian-Li following in the mod community. You can probably buy custom panels and stuff like that.
 
Cooler Master and Lian-Li both make very solid and well planned cases. If you like the look of that one, get it!
 
i used to think the wavemaster was top dog, but having spent a good few months hunting around, you can find (for less) a Silverstone TJ-05 - look on www.silverstonetek.com - it has great cooling, with two 120mm fans pre-installed, over the wavemaster's 120mm+80mm (less noisy) as well as 3x 80mm fan mounts in the side, which you could install 3 coolermaster silenX fans into. Also, it looks nice, as it's designed by the same guy who made the wavemaster, and it comes with a fan speed LCD panel set into the front, as well as all the usual features, such as removable HDD, locking front door, and an optional window. Go to www.scan.co.uk and look at the gorgeous white beast on the front page - that's what i'm gonna do to mine when i get it!

One caveat though... no removable mobo tray, so, if that is a necessity, then I would say the CoolerMaster case mentioned above.
 
owned many high end cases and i think lian li is the best out there..and for ur price range i thiink pc-65/b will do the trick..i have 3 of em and a i love em..and if u want bigger they have other v1000 or v2100 but they are out of ur price range..i highly reccomend them if u want a sweet case and they also come with windows on the side :)
 
The Lian-Li PC-V2000B (which also happens to be my first Lian-Li) is brilliant ... it's huge and has tons of space inside :D

Doesn't being roomy and easy to work in kind of make the removable motherboard tray kind of unnecessary?

Actually, I've never seen the point of a motherboard tray in general, unless there is absolutely NO other way to get the motherboard into the case. You still need to disconnect everything to remove it, so what's the point?
 
They're not exactly one of my first considerations either, but some people are quite fond of them.
