I'm in the looks for a new pc because my current setup isnt as good as it used to be.

I would like to get most, if not all the parts from newegg. I also have a $1000 budget ( + or - 100)

Here is what I have:

CPU- AMD 64 3200+ s939 90nm $190
MB- Chaintech nF4 mobo $100
GPU- eVGA 6600gt PCI-E $190
RAM- Corsair VS (2x 512mb) pc3200 $139
I dont know about PSU
Not sure on case, but i was leaning towards the SuperLANboy
not sure on hard drive
only CD/DVD I need is a DVD-Rom reader
I have moniter, Keyboard, and mouse.
OS- XP home $95

Dont recomend an ATI or Intel products, as I do not like them (lol).

My current setup is:
Athlon XP 3200+
some FSI mobo (nF2)
1gb of muskin pc3200
Chaintech GF FX5500 256mb AGP
160gb 7200RPM ATA Hdd (xp home)

What are you doing with your old computer's parts? I think the Mushkin RAM in the other computer is better than the Value Select stuff ($139?!?...it was $89 last week).

I had a SuperLanboy. It is a nice case and goes together pretty easily. The only issue I had was with the HD power cables and the drawer that pops out. Not that big of a deal.

Look in the PSU section of the forum. You're going to need a 24-pin PSU. I like the OCZ Powerstream myself, but it is a little pricey. I'd stick with a brand name PSU with at least 450W (more amps on the 12V rail the better). I tried a 20-24pin adapter and it "sort of" worked. I was running SLI though, so maybe it will work for you with only 1 vid card. Everything else looks fine though.

Well, my current ram is 1 stick of the mushkin, and 1 of samsung pc2700. The PSU i was looking at was an ATX2 fortron one on newegg.

Also, i was looking at the non SLi msi mobo, any good?
