I've decided to give this a shot and also when I get the server sorted out - the queuing will help with 60 HD. I'll let you all know how this turns out.there is a new plotter on the streets called Turbo Plotter 9000 it has a free version and a pro version https://blackpawn.com/tp/
it is looking like the new go to plotter it does gpu or cpu and offers staging on a ssd which makes those smr drives plot alot faster...
delete the setup it came with run the creepminer.exe /setup commandHas anyone here configured Creepminer?
I'm working to get setup on 0-100-pool.burst.cryptoguru.org however this config file for creepminer is kicking my butt.
I save all of my plotting to .bat files and if any are incomplete just re running that .bat picks it right up where it left off.Yeah, I think staging through a SSD is really only useful when using SMR drives.
I wonder if it supports restarting a plot if your computer reboots or you otherwise have to kill a plotting session like xplotter does. That's a great feature.

that must be due to creepsky removing it because it was an unfinished feature at one point in time he had 1.8 out it had some fixes and install options something caused him to pull the update and put out 1.7.16 as a point release witht he fixes minus the setup...When i try to run that i get the following.

So what is Creepminer?Has anyone here configured Creepminer?
I'm working to get setup on 0-100-pool.burst.cryptoguru.org however this config file for creepminer is kicking my butt.
You on a 50-50 pool? Looks like you forged a block. I used to forge them regularly, about once a week, but it's been over a month for me now for the first time ever
Yeah that's a 60/40 pool. When you have multiple miners using the same account on different machines, pools generally only report your total space for one of them, that's normal.https://poolofd32th.club/
I'm small time for these times as I have maybe 11TB in my server and another maybe 11TB total across 4 other systems in my home. Their site usually only shows about 11TB in the historical data though. Not sure why. I did plot with different numeric sequences to make sure there was no redundancy or overlap. I've never forged a block myself which is why it was a nice surprise. All of my drives were just salvage drives from rigs I've scrapped. So, lots of little ones that aren't really worth using for BURST but I plan on using them for something else later. Figured until I get the time to muck with them, they can just mine...lol. That and the future they are saying that you will be able to mine and use the same space for your own stuff in the future. So, there is that.
HDD access is fine, so I think it is fine. How would I check if the file is corrupt without re-plotting?Is it a corrupt file? Perhaps bad HDD...
Thank You!!!!Are you getting an error? Double check to make sure it isn't compressed. Since upgrading to the latest Qbundle I also have to go to the Blago directory and manually launch the executable rather than using the GUI interface.
Ya kinda why I'm still at it. When we hit the GPU/ASIC wall and the future state of Burst, I'm hopping I made the right decision. Who knows right.I don't know the details of your situation, but they are preparing for the next stage of BURST's evolution. Keeping the package updated helps with the transition. At some point the plots will become somewhat usable for some type of file storing rather than dead space. It may have something to do with the new plotting.
left it up overnight and it wen nowhere so yep doing that import now. hopefully my balance is way higher now. I've considered several times buying more drives but just haven't been willing to put up the cash while the entire coin market was tanking. I'm selling some GPUs and preparing for summer so some more drives may be a reasonable place to move some money. After updating, many people have theirs stuck. Half of my boxes were. I had to click on Datablase and then bootstrap chain to download a newer one. Then it updated fine afterwards.
not to nitpick but this post does not belong here. To mine burst hdd space not cpu or gpu power is really available or stocked with rigs for this...Well, if you have any resources to spare, out DC team is in need of more recruits right now. We have a very large challenge coming up in a few days that is the biggest challenge of each year. If interested, chime in here https://hardforum.com/threads/9th-annual-boinc-pentathlon-hosted-by-seti-germany.1957969/ and we can get you caught up to speed. The first project which is CPU only has been announced and so now is the time to start prepping..lol.
Yeah I have to agree it didn't belong. My gains are more modest, if I sold it all it would be worth around $480, I'm just shy of 20k burst.not to nitpick but this post does not belong here. To mine burst hdd space not cpu or gpu power is really available or stocked with rigs for this...
btw total gains so far 2500$ usd
i had 40k burst when i sold i now have about 16kYeah I have to agree it didn't belong. My gains are more modest, if I sold it all it would be worth around $480, I'm just shy of 20k burst.
I had read of this. Any chance you could elaborate on the steps, and or any difficulties you had?I'm still HODL'ing all of mine. Right around 250k now.
A few days ago I switched to a fork of the Blago miner that is capable of reading both PoC1 and PoC2 plots and I'm about 1/3 of the way done converting my 108 plot files to PoC2. I'm running 20 instances of the converter in parallel. Will be interesting to see if scan speed truly do double once they are all PoC2.
From what I understand if the pool supports poc2 your poc1 plots will still be minable it will just be slower than if you convert themI posted about my experience here.
Took me about a week for convert my 108 plots totaling 417TB. I ran up to 16 converters in parallel (max I could do with 64GB of RAM). Here's a shot of all the converted plots:

I already have my miner config file set to switch to PoC2 once we hit block 502,000, which should be in about 4 days time I think. At which point scan times should quadruple, and network difficulty should drop quite a bit, depending on how many miners have converted their plots already.
As I understand it, once the hard fork occurs at block 502,000, all miners still running PoC1 plots, will begin to fail and drop off the network.
