• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I just got a random email with the two factor authentication code.

It looks like somebody tried to log in as me but that means that they had my password?

I have changed my password hopefully that has me squared away.

That is strange. Is there any way that it could automatically trigger? I was on the computer all afternoon working and I definitely didn't attempt to log in until after I saw the email. When I logged in to changed my password, it sent a different code. That was an hour and 20 minutes or so later.
Both emails do mention the same IP address, I hadn't even checked that.

Could your ip have been changed by your ISP? That might have triggered it? Just speculating.

Yeah, sometimes it sends the request, but the tab was open in the background or something so I don't see it until later. Then it expires and I visit the site again later, and either it sends another or asks me to log in.
