1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Primary: HTPC
Secondary: Render Node
Tertiary: Light gaming
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$700 total with taxes, will go over by $50 if it's worth it.
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Canada. Using http://www.memoryexpress.com for my prices/availability.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
All new system.
Case to fit in TV stand with PS3/Xbox, etc
CPU
Motherboard
Ram
HDD
BluDD
OS
Wireless KB/M
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
None
6) Will you be overclocking?
No, power consumption and noise is a factor.
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
Hooking it up to a 42" 1080p HDTV
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
First week of October
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc.
***
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
No, 64-bit needed.

Hopefully this is in the right section, don't see a lot of HTPC build suggestions in the HTPC section.

I do quite a bit of 3D CG, mostly lighting and sims, so using up extra power out of any available PC will always be welcome. I will be needing a HTPC in the near future and would also like for it to act as a render node when needed.

These are the parts I was thinking. Links to Memory Express for local buying but, can order online. Not set on any part.

$129.99 - Antec New Solution Series NSK2480 Desktop Case w/ EarthWatts 380W Power Supply
$119.99 - AMD A6-3650 APU 2.6GHz w/ 4MB Cache
$99.99 - Gigabyte GA-A75M-UD2H w/ Dual DDR3 1866, 7.1 Audio, Gigabit Lan, 1394, PCI-E, CrossFireX
$49.99 - GSKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB PC3-12800 Dual Channel DDR3 Kit (2 x 4GB)
$69.99 - Seagate 2TB Barracuda Green SATA III w/ 64MB Cache
$49.99 - LG CH10 Super Multi Blue 10x Internal SATA Blu-ray Disc Reader / Combo Drive, Black w/ Lightscribe
$119.99 - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium x64 (64-bit) SP1 DVD - OEM
$29.99 - Logitech Wireless Desktop® MK300

$750 after taxes, local pick up(no shipping).

If you have a totally different direction, I'm flexible. Don't want to break the bank so if you can cut the cost down, that'd be great. I am really just looking for Maximum CPU performance for rendering, while still being able to stream/encode(?) 1080p content and the ability to play Blu-Rays on a 42" 1080p HDTV. Gaming is a distant third.

Thanks for your time.

Actually looks pretty solid to me. Offers the right balance in all three of usage scenarios in performance. Really not much you can do to lower costs without going into the really low quality POS stuff.
