Hey,

I'm thinking about those 2 monitors. I know which one is better, the problem is the price DOES matter and the HP is exactly twice as much expensive as BenQ. So here's what I'm going to do:
1) Find out whether v2400w fits my needs or not
2a) if it does, I'll take it
2b) if it doesn't I'll probably take LP2475W

What I need?
- 23-24"
- HD support
- great for PS3 games
- good for Blu-Ray movies
- good looking
- good for casual movies played on my computer (Mac mini)
- good for daily computer tasks
- the ability to connect both Mac mini and PS3 at the same time, great if it will change the input automatically then one is turned off and the other is on

So, will the v2400w do what I need or you think I should pay (TWICE AS MUCH) for 2475? Thanks in advance

I am a happy V2400W owner

- HD support great for PS3 games - Yes, V2400W is 1920X1200 and HDCP/1080P compatible
- good for Blu-Ray movies - yes- good looking - I like it a lot, ultra slim, piano black- good for casual movies played on my computer (Mac mini)
- good for daily computer tasks - why not
- the ability to connect both Mac mini and PS3 at the same time, great if it will change the input automatically then one is turned off and the other is on
I don't have a Mac so this I can not confirm

In overall, I love my V2400W and will recommend to everyone.

Thanks BBI!
I'm 80% sure I'll take the cheaper v2400w. I actually have one more requirement which is the ability to edit photographs. I know 2475 will be excellent for this job cause many photographers recommended this one for me. Surely v2400w will be much worse, but can it be used for the real basics in photo editing?

If you have any more opinions on 625$ LP2475 vs 304$ V2400W, feel free to post it here. Thanks!

This review complains about Overdrive trailing from AMA system: http://www.flatpanelshd.com/review.php?subaction=showfull&id=1232711182

You don't experience that?

Yes it's there, but AMA can be turned off on the V2400W and G2400WD, giving a good compromise, so it shouldn't be a big issue.

Wojti > The V2400W does change inputs dynamically. It can be good, or a pain depending on the situation, like when your PC goes into power save mode and the PS3 is on, and it auto-switches to the PS3, but it does work for what you seem to want.

There's one more display I'm thinking about: The Samsung F2380

What do you think about V2400W vs LP2475W vs F2380? How do they all compare? Will 2380 fill my needs better than the V2400W?

Thanks BBI!

Yes, it will be enough for the "real basics in photo editing." Any TN panel will suffice for that matter. It seems as though you are already set against purchasing a monitor that is "TWICE AS MUCH" so just go with the BenQ.

Thanks man, but how does the F2380 suit here? Could anyone compare it with the V2400W? Maybe it's a good idea to wait a little bit
