How's this PCI-E x800XL

What do you guys think of this x800XL card?

Should I spend an extra $40 and get ATI, ASUS, or MSI from newegg? Does anyone know how loud these cards are? I'm trying to build a quiet PC and haven't heard much about the noise level on the x800XL cards.

Connect 3D is a good brand, and that is a good price. I say go for it.

As far as the fan, at 100% it tends to whine, but if you get ATI tool you can adjust the fan speeds to your liking anyways. If sound is a huge issue though, I would say pick up a ATI Silencer 5. It will cool much better than stock and be silent.

That card has been at that price for awhile now. Its a great card, I've used 6 of them hehe.

Awesome card for the price. I have a connect3d x800xl currently overclocked to 468 core, 576 mem. Kept cool with a Zalman VF700-ALCu.
