For under 900$

what do ya think?

whats the system for? gaming? if so what resolution and size u running?

Apevia PSUs kill (computer parts, not people... well, maybe people, iunno, lol). Get an Antec Earthwatts, Corsair, XClio, or FSP instead.

2GB of RAM should be $40 or less. Switch to G.Skill instead.

The P35-DS3R was great for its time -- I even have one. The P35C-DS3R was useless because DDR3 support is unnecessary for the Core2 Platform. Switch to the GA-EP45-DS3R, Asus P5Q Pro, or GA-EP43-DS3L, depending on your needs. What features do you need in a motherboard?

The E6850 was also good for its time, but has since been replaced. The E8400 would be a better buy, and it can OC better, too... if you're into that kinda stuff.

The 8800GT is nice, but the HD4850 is even better. What size resolution will you be gaming at, and at what settings?

That particular HDD is rather slow... any reason you chose it?

I think you could do a lot better for $900, but I'll leave the fun to someone else. :p

QFT. If you want a $900 paperweight, then by all means go with the Apevia PSU.

Yay! Fun time! :D

Anyway, Enginurd is right, you can get a significantly better build for under $900:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 CPU - $170
Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R Intel P45 Motherboard - $120
G.Skill F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ 2 x 2GB DDR2 1000 RAM - $68
Sapphire 100245L Radeon HD 4850 512MB PCI-E Video Card - $160
Western Digital WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - $75
Samsung SH-222F 22X DVD±R SATA DVD Burner - $25
Antec Earthwatts 650W PSU - $80
Cooler Master RC-690-KKN1-GP ATX Case - $78
Xigmatek HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle HSF - $35 & Retention Bracket - $7
----
Total: $818 plus tax and shipping.

Faster video card, faster CPU, higher clocked RAM and better HSF for overclocking and the best part of all: A PSU that won't kill your PC.

Danny's build is great. Another option is the P5Q Pro + E8400 Combo for $270, saving you another $20 for an equal alternative mobo.

well as usual DannyBui has reccomended a solid system here, with one exception. That original reference version of the 4850 gets nuclear hot. I would go with something like this instead;

SAPPHIRE 100242TXSR Radeon Toxic HD 4850 512MB $199.99

Heres a review for you to review! :) A solid aftermarket cooling solution like this is worth the $30 extra plus its already overclocked pretty much as far as it will go without getting into volt modding.
