Added some more GHz for [H] today. 13.3 to be exact (if you don't count the dual boxes...21.3 if you do). 5 boxes in all and probably more to come. Just wanted to say hi to everyone folding.

GHZ counts... be it 1 chip per box or 10 :D
congrats and glad to have you.

look at the faq and ask questions.

"what version is fastest?"
"what are flags (-forceSSE -service -advmethods)?"
"how do I hide the client?"
"how can I monitor all the boxen on my network?"
"can I get stats on remote computers somehow?"
"is there a "rollout" installer? something to give to "non-computer" users to install?"
"can I run folding without a hard drive?"

all this and more... ask anything you need, or want to know and we'll do what we can.

My main gaming box has crashed a monster tinker 6 times, I give, how can you reject a project?

It doesn't expire until Aug 28, do I have to take this boxen offline till then?

welcome to the fold :p

i think this might help you leadman http://folding.stanford.edu/console-userguide.html try using the -delete x in the shortcuts target. you could also try lowering your OC if you are.

hope that helps you.

FOLD ON!!

I did have a question.

that, is folding. its not a quick process :p

the writing and completed is it finishing a step and saving the work (in case of crash, restart, closing the program, etc)

and it takes 8 hours bc as kronchev said, that is folding.
takes long time...some much longer than others, but yeah, long time.

Then what is:

[17:06:04] Finished a frame (162)
[17:14:17] Finished a frame (163)
[17:22:07] Finished a frame (164)
[17:30:20] Finished a frame (165)
[17:38:21] Finished a frame (166)
[17:46:36] Finished a frame (167)
[17:54:35] Finished a frame (168)
[18:02:45] Finished a frame (169)

Sorry for all the questions, just want to understand what's going on.

there are two cores: tinker and gromac

the first one you posted is a gromac
the second, a tinker.

I believe general consensus now is use -advmethods on pentiums but not on amds bc -advmethods helps you get more gromac cores and the tinkers are giving better points for amds.

That..... would be a tinker WU.... they take a LOOOONG time to fold... as much as a week or more on slower machines... but they're worth alot of points...

The majority of Tinkers usually take between 27-30 hours to complete on the rig in my sig. There are too many different Gromacs work units for me to remember how long they take although they usually range from 4-17 hours depending on which one I have at the time.
