• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

How would you set this up?

So I have:

fx8120 (4.4ghz)
32gb of ram
4 nics (1 Realtek 3 Broadcom)
2 120gb ssd
1 1tb hhd
1 640gb hdd

This is what I want to run:

Domain controller
Active directory
Dhcp
2 DNS
File
Print
Media
Exchange
VPN
Game (dod,css,csgo)
Web
Backup

How would you set this up? All servers will be server 12r2.

AD with DNS+DHCP (3GB mem, 60gb thin provision Hdd on the 640gb)
AD with DNS (3GB mem, 60gb thin provision on the 1TB)
File-Print (3GB mem, 80gb thin provision on the 640gb, additional storage on the 1TB)
Web-media (4GB mem, 60gb thin provision on the SSD)
Exhange (6GB mem, 80gb thin provision on the SSD, another ~50gb on the 640gb)
Backup (3GB mem, 60gb thin provision on the SSD, additional storage on the 1Tb or 640gb)
VPN (3Gb mem, 60gb thin provision on an SSD or the 640gb)
Game...on aVM?

That's how I do something similar (2 DC, 1FP, 1 VPN, 1 UTM, 1 Win7, 1 Win8,1 sharepoint) but with 16gb

Game server, not for playing

2 core for each vm? What you give their own nics to?

single CPU each, most VM's benefit from more ram than vCPU

for the NICs...
not really sure, I only use 2 NIC's
internal and external, each with a virtual switch/network

The AD/DNS servers don't need anywhere near that ram for home use. 1-2GB each will be fine. Same with File/Print server. Use the extra ram for Exchange and the Game server, which will actually need/use it.
